'The Master of the Cult of Death' at Birmingham University

The Spittoon blog reports that Jalal Ibn Saeed will be speaking at Birmingham University at the invitation of the Islamic Society.

Student Rights note:

1)  That Jalal is recognised as a 'soft-Islamist', with the topic of death and Islam as his forte.  He has said things like, "A good death is a slow one."

2)  That Jalal often speaks alongside other notable Islamists such as Murtaza Khan, Haitham al-Haddad and Hamza Andreas Tzortzis (a former Hizb-ut-Tahrir member himself).

3)  That Jalal has preached anti-Semitism in his speeches [1min 29secs], stating, "...we selfishly live like the Jews, who only care about themselves and call the rest a goyim, those who are damned. Those who are enslaved to them.” Jalal also calls for Muslims to ostracize themselves from British society.  A deplorable call for segregation and isolation completely out of touch with inter-faith dialogue.

4) He has also said “Some ask, what do you mean? Stop everything I am doing? Don’t eat? Don’t live? Don’t have fun? Don’t play games? Don’t enjoy? Don’t eat? Don’t sleep? Don’t get married? Don’t have children? Don’t buy a house, a car? Just worship? The answer is yes. The answer is yes. If one was sincere, one would not ask such a question. One would say, yes, he is my Lord, what does he want me to do? I will do what he wants me to do, his bidding.”

Here are the details of the event: Date: Thursday 10th February Time: 6-8pm Venue: Mechanical Engineering, Lecture Room G31 The entrance fee is £2 per person, which can be paid at the door.

Here is an advertisement from a previous Jalal Ibn Saeed event.  Remember, these are aimed at students in their formative years.  Harrowing stuff.
