This evening, Abdullah Hakim Quick will be speaking at Kings College London- after having reportedly denounced the "filth" of Jews and espousing “death” as the Islamic position on homosexuality. King's College have stated that should the content of the meeting offend, the event would be halted.

However, further to the implications of the Christmas day bomber and the creep of Islamist ideas onto university campuses, Director of Student Rights Raheem Kassam has warned “This is yet another abuse of universities’ laissez-faire approach to campus security.  I’m delighted the Dean of Kings’ College will be there to see just what kind of hateful rhetoric these speakers preach.  Unfortunately now that the event organisers are aware, they may ask Mr. Quick to tone down the speech.

Sheikh Abdullah Hakim Quick is on record as preaching that AIDS is caused by the “filthy practices” of homosexuals and that homosexuals are dropping dead from AIDS and “they want to take us all down with them”. He has also stated that the Islamic position on homosexuality is “death”.

He has further shown his virulent homophobia by declaring that homosexuals are “sick” and “” not natural" and that “Muslims are going to have to take a stand [against homosexuals] and it’s not enough to call names” (this last point comes close to an implied threat of violence).
